A fourth year art student at Saint Louis University, Amari's art comes to life through drawing, painting, and textiles.

She particularly enjoys portraits, and frequently explores how complex human emotion translates through facial expressions. She uses vibrant and colorful expressionism or black and grey realism to evoke emotion, often encouraging eye contact with the subject. Her work is highly inspired by nature, as well as traditional American and Japanese tattoo art.

Upon graduation, Amari is working towards an apprenticeship in tattooing. While striving to be well rounded, her personal style consists of moody, illustrative designs. She has always been fascinated with the practice of tattooing, and is excited to apply her practice to the most intimate of all canvases: the human body.
